Bear Lighting started in 2021 as Winterpro Home Services. Our founder, Alex, got his start in the home services industry the hard way — door-knocking neighborhoods for window washing work.
One fall, he added holiday lighting to the offering. That single season changed everything. It became the most rewarding part of the business — watching families walk out onto the driveway, look up, and see their home transformed. Every job felt like a scene out of a commercial.

One season became a business.
That first holiday season's success grew fast. By year two, Bear Lighting had expanded into commercial work — restaurants, bars, and churches were seeking out our team for the same warmth and attention we brought to homes. Along the way we've had the honor of lighting spaces for EPIC Steak, Waterbar, Boulevard, Trumer Pils, Samara, and a number of church clients, and we've built a partnership with Balsam Brands.
Today, Bear Lighting operates across multiple states through a trusted subcontractor installer network. Both our residential and permanent lighting work is white-glove — consultation-first, mock-up on your actual home, and revisions until the design matches exactly what you imagined. That's the part that never scales away.
